Before I start, I just wanted to say this isn't an Australian variant, I hope the AU variant phones get Onr UI 4 soon.

How do I tell if HDR is working in One UI 4? I honestly don't think I've ever seen the icon after upgrading. Is the icon simply gone? Or is my HDR completely broken? If someone knows what's happening please let me know.

in One UI4 its set to Auto HDR

go to camera , when you are on photo mode click on setting tab and scroll a bit down .. there you will see the Auto HDR toggle switch which should be turned on automatically .... thats the reason you don't see that message

hope this solves your question

Cheers

Thanks, this was the answer I was looking for! It is in fact turned on by default. I think they should definitely add that message in again!
