Merge of Samsung Message and Google Message

Can anyone help me with how to merge the Samsung Messages and Google Messages apps? Because my Samsung S15 has it, why doesn't my S23 FE have it?

Download the Google Messages app from the Play Store. Set it as your default SMS app, and you're good to go.

But I want my Samsung messages because I can customize the background.

Samsung has already announced that they're stopping the development of the Samsung Messages app in favor of Google Messages.

You can still use it for SMS, but Chat features (RCS) from the Samsung Messages app may stop working anytime.

Newer devices no longer ship with the Samsung Messages app.
