New S25: Google Wallet tap to pay does not work

Google Wallet is setup fine, cards added no issues. Just does not work on tap to pay NFC terminals. 

Just moved over to S25 from a Pixel 9 Pro. Never had any issues with Google Wallet. 

Samsung Wallet works fine with my cards so it's not the NFC chip. Something in the Samsung phone software is causing Google Wallet issues. 

Brand new phone. Have added Google Wallet to the "do not sleep" battery option. Have enabled all permissions for it. Problem continues. 

This is serious - Samsung Wallet doesn't have the same level of support from financial institutions.

Which financial institution are you trying to connect with Samsung Wallet?

It's a known issue with Google wallet currently. Just keep the app updated at all times and someday Google will resolve it. It's not a Samsung software issue.

I managed to resolve it. Turned *all* Google Wallet permissions off, and then on again and rebooted. Now it works, and the NFC detection is faster and more accurate than pixel.
