No sim card detected error

I wanted to know if anyone else has had a 'sim card not detected' error message appear on their phone that disconnects them from the network? If so, have you managed to get any resolution from Samsung? 

It's been happening to me for weeks and when I am on a call it disconnects the call.

I've taken my phone back to Samsung four times and the first two times they said they had fixed it, but the error kept occuring. 

It was eventually escalated and they said they couldn't detect any error and have returned my phone unrepaired, replaced nor refunded, yet I am still experiencing the same error. 

I am waiting for my next (fifth) appointment which I could only get in two weeks' time to try and get a resolution. 

Very disappointing experience and appalled at thr customer service considering my loyalty to Samsung for so many years.

Oh good grief this has just started to happen to me when I changed my SIM. SIM works fine in another phone. I"ve reinstalled software, factory reset..everything. HELP!

I am sorry to hear you are that you are having a similar issue with your phone. Could you please refer back to Samsung Laura’s message above on how to do an error report? Please let me know if you the problem persists.
