Many countries got the update late, not just us.

As for the beta program, it's been noted many times, only 6-8 countries are in the beta, it's not "Just Samsung Australia things".

Situation normal. Better late than never like Motorola.

Yeah the support for Australia is quite horrible. Not a fan, would love to participate in the betas

My theory, the reason for not having the beta program in Australia is due to the functions of the Samsung offices in Australia vs other countries like Poland, the UK, etc

Australia, if I'm not mistaken, doesn't have a large-scale OS development and programming team, nothing quite like what Poland's office has, as a result, beta participants in that region can participate more timely information, accurately understood by the region, and creates a stronger feedback loop for the development

Australia doesn't have the user base required, nor the team to make it valuable, in a cold and calculated sense, we're not that useful to the process

Much to our collective upset, we are so very keen for OneUI 7, but, we are going to have to wait 🥲

Bit unkind about Australian office. Beta is only available in around 6? countries out of 180+? For more comments on this issue go to Community page, top right, and search for "beta" 😊 Have you noted that updates are usually timed by model number presumably to check each update for the model(s) chosen to cater for problems?

Oh absolutely no disrespect meant to our local teams, and definitely there is a strong desire for these updates in our region. And if our voices grow, we might see a change, definitely something we would love to have!

Delays in software updates used to be exacerbated by carriers, this has improved and we have been getting updates faster than ever, for this I'm very thankful. Then, usually Samsung focuses on a N-1, N-2, N-3 rollout approach, eg, S24 then S23 then S22, etc.

According to old data available online (see attached, taken from a publically available PDF, but, as mentioned this data is out of date), historically the Samsung operations out of Australia have been part of the 'Sales Network' with less developers than sales enablement team, if we had the right team in Australia, we might see an uptick in development releases

Again, all speculative, but, to me it makes sense

Edit: The image provided was compressed badly, here is another source highlighting that in spite of Samsung's operational size, a majority of satellite locations are "Sales Offices" and not developers who can assist with a beta rollout and testing (source: https://news.samsung.com/global/fast-facts )Screenshot_20241210_000604_Samsung Notes_1000014520_1733749564.pngScreenshot_20241210_082058_Samsung Internet_1000014555_1733779258.png
