Let's all get together and make some noise so that atleast this time we get to test the One UI 5 beta so that we can come up with good suggestions to improve the software as well as make it better than the one we have now .
Samsung has been running Beta testing programs for so many other countries except Aussie land ......let's make it happen this time here too
Samsung bring back native video calling in Samsung dialler and carrier specific csc frestures based on sim card I don't want to be forced to use duo when it's still a stock feature of the software but blocked by Samsung on Australian and many other area s22 devices. I didn't pay almost 1800 bucks for a downgraded feature set, and don't blame my carrier native video calls work fine on my sim in my note 20 ultra 5g one ui 4.1 and a friend's s21 even. I've even found it in a hidden setting (labs) to make fake calls to test things but even after turning evething on in IMS settings it doesn't appear. Csc should be made to be easily changed without having to pay some sketchy samkey program to change it what the hell was wrong with the sim card determining your CSC. This won't stop stolen phones being sold in the grey market so what was the point, I can even get call recording native using Indonesia firmware and it's great google pay and everything still works as does RCS msgs albeit on ugly google msgs BRING BACK NATIVE VIDEO CALLS AND CARRIER OPTIMISED FIRMWARE. EVEN THE PHONES SOLD BY EVERY MAJOR CARRIER IN AUSTRALIA USE UN BRANDED XSA CSC NOW SO NO HANDSETS SUPPORT NATIVE VIDEO ANYMORE IT'S SHADY AND UNDERHANDED I NEVER WOULD BROUGHT THIS PHONE HAD I KNOWN THAT!
Hi @Coco85, the concept for VILTE (Video over LTE) has been changed to Google Duo on all new devices running OS S. To use video calling function, please use Google Duo or preferred alternate video calling application.
I'll just root the phone eventually and access the ims settings and csc files that control feature set and due to Australian consumer laws samsung has to honour warranty unless their is physical damage to the phone the firmware will be stock anyway. I don't care about Knox or any samsung pay **bleep** anyway and will unroot after I've got what I want working. What a joke. This will be my last Samsung phone I'll be going with a google pixel in future and running graphene OS because unlike Samsung Google doesn't try void the warranty for running custom firmware an improved firmware with tighter security than stock android at hardware and software levels. Smasung has gone to the dogs!
I agree we are small in numbers in the land down under. However we got deep pockets and love the best technology. Why do we have to get less is the Aussie dollar not good enough we first world country and deserve nothing but the best we also create test and have alot of thoughts that go into improving tech or straight up no don't change it . That going backwards. I've seen a jump and leap then a fall in so much . With samsung taking away the bezel. Taking away our note. Taking away our micro sd card port . Seriously why . They get it right then go down . I am stuck in the note 20 ultra 5g . The buds live n the galaxy watch with bezel hard and works well durable. But what happened after this feels some improvement in areas but alot of sacrifice. Samsung get with the program ok the flagship models need the best of the best ok best screen hard durable dust water proof improvement not take away what draws us to samsung products I also have a brilliant add on but unless I get a contract that will if a company takes my ideas I get paid I will not give a possible multi unknown dollar figure away when one of the big tech companies are willing to put it in contract. If they don't ever ever ever use my ideas no problem. However if they take it and make it they pay . I believe it's fair so time is now samsung contract me and let's revolutionise the market and squash the competition. My loyalty remains with samsung for the moment. However if u take all the good away for profit I won't upgrade and may be taking a long term of business to a company that listening and cares enough to create it we buy it . Don't destroy what you create. Listen to the feedback Listen buy or give royalty to people that believe in samsung and want to improve it . Small price to pay . And think of the word of mouth between users if the users help create a flagship of all flagship phones that destroy the competition we have the tech we have the ideas we have everything needed to rise above all others on the market. Let's get it back on track and keep innovation and creativity going .. please wake up samsung your big very very big company. However so was nokia ... yea yea I know you got ya fingers in the amount of pies you have . Don't mean to say that we the users can't help but we help u create n pay its how it works . Yea most people don't use smart phones to it's fullest potential. My issue my biggest issue is storage and you take away the micro sd slot wow do you realise with 8k and large MP photos and creative apps and the rest how much storage we require.. tell me I'm not the only 1. Look I believe a minimum 5tb internal storage is a min requirement for some flagship and heavy users so think about that ... I know it isn't much room requirement for that storage we also need to process faster then ya laptops and computers we want the best if it cost 4 grand for a superior super ultra phone that puts all laptops phones computers to shame I would pay it and some more create it and we will take it ... please . My little input for the moment I have been very disappointed over last 2 years samsung. Really realise that Ur going backwards I got the buds 2 for free from points earned but it's rubbish completely rubbish why .. why . Not great way to be the best of the best . It was and I was proud so proud the s20 ultra 5g pre order with 108mp cam wow yea it had its issues we got through it . And the bubble screen moving around wow then ya put rubbish factory screen the boxes wow s10 plus was amazing with the rainbow silver s10 + symbol then s20 ultra ok but after that u give us bloody not much no charging etc ... look flagship phones big beautiful boxes all the trimmings spear no expense make it happen all the options the best package deal watch buds biggest screen multi screening and sounds hard durable and eye catching something that people will see and know that the person has a flagship samsung phone wow factor please bring back the pride
