I find it nothing short of RIDICULOUS that the beta versions for the upcoming release of One UI 7 won't be released in any form to Australia.
Looking back and seeing they have never done this before in the past, it begs the question, are Samsung legitimately serious about growing their mobile market share?! Because it's little things like this that can make all the difference!!!

Come on Samsung, get with it and actually COMMIT!!!!

It seems Samsung take Australia for granted, not really worried about the market here.

The purpose of beta is to do maximum testing using minimum resources which includes finding appropriate size markets for different testing purposes. With 180+ countries and beta testing countries around 7 what gives you the right to be so entitled
Sheesh whingers.

I was merely pointing out that it seems like we're forgotten over here, don't understand how that makes me seem entitled... dropkick.

We are a smaller market and that's exactly why we're not considered for this. It's entitled if you decide to take that personally when it makes perfect sense... 👀

There's only 7 or 8 countries in the beta program.

Considering India and the 3 or 4 European countries in the program cover the international phone models, Samsung HQ clearly feels all markets are covered.

Having said that, an open public beta program like Google offers would be nice.

That does pose problems, though.
Too many people install beta software and then complain nonstop because things don't work, and because of bugs, etc.
They do that despite the warnings and advice not to use beta software on daily used devices.
