According to some comments and posts on this community, some S24 Ultras in AUSTRALIA have One UI 7 stable, no sideloading.

Very true, their conduct on a number of recent issues hasn't created or maintained any friends.

Yeah, nah.

Samsung stated their plans for One UI 7 last year at SDC24.

And nothing has changed.
IMHO, the problem is those who can't read, those who read and believe click bait news on tech sites etc and those who wish to watch the world burn by stirring up rubbish.

Furthermore, besides our Community Managers posting up about the release back in March, Samsung globally posted up info on the Samsung Newsroom site.

Good to see Samsung have at least one fan boy here

Posting facts is a problem?

The only fact is that Pixels had Android 15 last November
Galaxy S
Google makes Pixels and Android.
And even Google doesn't always get it right, their new models launched with Android 14 because A15 wasn't ready.

Your may not like the current situation, but Samsung Clearly stated their plans last year.

Currently, around only 5% of ALL Androids have Android 15.

Even if what you say about Samsung initially posting certain timeframes is true, that initial timeframe went off the rails and was changed frequently by Samsung.
As a result, Samsung's flagship phone customers and almost every reputable reviewer were criticising Samsung for the lack of explanation and transparency surrounding the release of the stable UI7.
To the contrary, Samsung largely remained silent, effectively stonewalling and insulting the very customer base its future flagship upgrades depend upon.

There's no avoiding the fact that Samsung let its loyal customers down badly, which resulted in their very vocal frustration and annoyance. Let's hope that Samsung learns from this current debacle and does better with more timely and reliable releases of Android 16 and UI8.

Please explain how it went off the rails?

Last year they said the next Galaxy S series would get it first.
Galaxy S25 launched mid February (yes pre-orders starting shipping from Feb 6, but the pre-order period ran until Feb 14 or 16 (I forget the exact date).
In the meantime, the Beta program was still running, with the Z 6 series joining the beta program in early March.

Mid March, Samsung officially announced their release plan for the S24 series and Z Flip6/Fold6 as starting FROM April 7, which they have done.

As for Samsung posting the time frame, go check Samsung Newsroom or search the Community Managers post about it in Mid March.

Apologies in advance but I really don't have any more time to spend on this thread.

To conclude however, I believe the seemingly unending Beta releases, one after the other, unnerved people and made them, at the least, suspicious of Samsung's motives and/or its technological competency.
In either case, it damaged Samsung's credibility and in my opinion, Samsung need to move forward, firstly by acknowledging that fact and then by displaying a changed approach the next time they release an update. I don't think that's too much of an ask from their customers.
