After installing one UI 7.0. I have had a lot of issues with slow wifi, whether that be loading browser pages, apps, in game loading connecting to servers etc, download updates for smart devices. It has all failed or not working at all. Unless I use my data. I have reset my network settings and my router etc all the obvious stuff. Definitely an issue only when I use my wifi which has never happened before.
Same. I'm rebooting my S21 Ultra every 2-3 hours because that's how long I have until my wifi and Bluetooth start crashing out. I hate this Ui 7 update that was forced on me last month. I noticed that if I run the "optimize now" feature under "device care", the wifi and Bluetooth will start working again for a while instead of having to reboot. During that process it says it's closing out background apps. I don't know what those background apps are, but I'm assuming one is causing the issue. All of this started immediately after the One Ui7 update.
Similar issues here, but more importantly, the wifi turns off when it disconnects from a wifi session, causing increased mobile data usage when I believe I'm connected to wifi.
Yes, the wifi icon should be present, but for the past 20 yrs of using Samsung phones, tbis hasn't ever been a concern.
Its Aug and still no update! I am normally quite okay for other issues but not being able to use wifi and also mobile hotspot impacting the productivity a lot. Samsung, please get the update out! 👏
