Is there any word on when OneUI 4.0 will be available in Australia?

Not yet.

Carrier testing no doubt holding things up a little, but that could be a good thing.

The US variants just got a patch/update to fix a bug in the release version.
Some refresh issues on their Snapdragon based models.

Germany has also done the same, though not sure what was fixed there.

I believe there is no official set date for the release of the One UI 4.0 in Australia just yet. At the moment the One UI 4.0 is on Beta in other countries. I think we just have to hold on tight a little longer! But I'm sure they'll begin to roll it out early 2022.

Hi @EatAllThePie, @emjeiiamira is correct in that we don't have an official release date just yet. 

Just adding on that these updates are also released gradually by device model, and carrier variant so it may vary depending on whether you are an S21, S20, or S10 owner.

Firstly, it will depend of which phone you have, and also whether it's an unlocked handset, or locked to a carrier .

What I normally do is wait for India to receive the software update then I download it from sammobile and use Odin to install it, been doing for a long time with no problems

don't use India as they have no 5g service
