Pink line on S22+

I'm facing the issue of a pink line with my S22+ which I have it under 2 years. I'm also wondering if this is a strategy for Samsung to force us to switch phone or to switch to its competitors. 

Original Samsung charger fused as well. Verified by heading to a Samsung shop. I'm very surprised as my previous chargers from Huawei and Vivo are still going strong. 

I called in to hotline and was told that there is no case to be logged (no reference number to provide me) and asked me to head to a service centre ( to quote just my mobile number) I read online that walking straight into a service centre will warrant a hefty service fee. 

I feel very shocked to be caught in such situation. I bought Samsung as my friends gave me raved reviews. This issue has surfaced since 2023 where Straits Times reported on it. Could Samsung acknowledge this issue hardware/software and provide us a free replacement outright? Regardless of our warranty status?

I'm surprised that my issue has been marked as resolved when it is not.

I'm still waiting for your team to reach out to me. Updating as resolved is a misrepresentation of current status.

I am facing the exact same issue as you 3 days ago after I got a software update. I did another one just now an as they offer it and still doesn't resolve the problem. Was your problem resolved eventually? It's so sad. The phone is about 1 year 10 mths old and suddenly a bright pink line right in the middle of the screen of my S22+. I think is really best to get other phone now, since there's so much options.
