Hey guys,
Does anyone else has their order still showing as "preparing for dispatch" even though the shipping date was of today?

If you have placed the order through the Samsung website, prepare to wait - indefinitely. 

I purchased a TV in January, it's been 40+ days since the assigned delivery date. To date the TV whereabouts is still unknown, despite spending over an hour on multiple phone calls with the 'support' team and being promised my order was being escalated with urgency. I've done everything, from Chat, emailing their support team, phone calls to no avail. 

My last conversation resulted in this:
"We’re reaching out to provide the $50 Voucher Code offered to you to apologise for the delay of your Samsung Online Store Order and thank you for your patience. We understand this may be disappointing and apologize for any inconvenience. *Voucher redeemable on purchases of $350 or more"

Absolutely pathetic. I have to spend $350 to redeem the $50 voucher. I never intend to purchase again from Samsung, let alone be spending this amount. Regardless of any logistical issues the team may be experiencing, it surely not beyond Samsung to send periodic updates. 40+ days and counting......

That's absolutely pathetic!
Can't we just cancel the order?
I tried to look for the option and it's not there.
And when I try to chat with someone it puts me on hold for 10-20 minutes and than just disconnect..😐

I've actually tried to cancel an earlier order. This was from back in December. Firstly that order took over a month to rock up. While in limbo, I attempted to cancel the order but got told they needed the item to be returned to the warehouse first. It finally rocked up sometime in January. I called and told them to pick it up and demanded a refund. It's been a month and I'm still waiting for it to be collected. In short you can try, but they will first need to locate the item you purchased. This will take 30 days (if you are lucky). If found, then only will your refund be processed. I've yet to see this happen. And each time I call, they tell me that it will be escalated and then the 30 day timer starts again. Truly appalling.

I didn't know it can be this much hassle 😅
Let's see if they deliver it this week or maybe next.
Otherwise I'll just try to cancel it.

Yeah. I was sucked in with the cheap prices and online specials. Never again, not worth the follow up effort. Purchases of high value products in the future will be done where the seller has an actual physical store. Makes it easier to follow up.
