Randomly losing network signal

Hi,

I have an intermittent issue with my S22 Ultra.

I lose network connectivity, the 5g and network strength symbol disappears. I can't get on the internet and if I try making a call I get the error "Not registered on network".

I tried turning airplane mode on/off, resetting network settings and factory resetting my phone. 

If I restart my phone it temporarily fixes it but the problem comes back.

Any help appreciated.

have you tried to update the system to the latest version?

It has the latest software, October patch

The update probably did it, after the update im getting "emergency call only" despite in the SIMS section it says my provider's name i.e it can see the sim. I'm dropping network (p.s I'm on the fold 4 but its still related if we're talking update is the issue)

Yeah, I did noticed this issue on my device as well but when ever it does happen with in 30 seconds it get backs to normal state. I reckon you to go with a restart for now until samsung support comes with a solution

Hey Ryan1983,
Certainly a strange one. Suggest when it happens again, within 2-3 minutes, go to the support tab in Samsung Members app, click Error Reports>networking/wifi, describe the issue/frequency, tick 'send system log data', then send to log an error report for Samsung to have a look at.

Hey, it would be hard to do that if I have no network connectivity

What about wifi to send the report? Is that affected as well or just mobile network?

I've only noticed it when I'm out and about away from WiFi, it happened today at a restaurant. One thing I noticed is when I switched to 4g the network connectivity came back.
