My wife and I have the exact same phone, the S10. we bought out However under camera settings she has the option to turn on QR reader and also on the pull down quick panel she had QR Reader as an option.
Both our phones have the same software version, are basically identical, but I don't have the option to turn QR on in camera settings or the pull down panel
Hi there, here are some tips for troubleshooting: go to galaxy store, see if your camera app has an update. If it does, update it. Also, check for update for your firmware. There is a new update for your device - keep an eye for it.
The features your device is missing was released in 2019. You should all have it. I have all the S - series of samsung phones. They all have QR-Code built into the camera app even the S10.

I have the exact same issue with Samsung A13. The QR reader switch does not appear in the Samsung camera apps. I had to install Google lense in order to be able to scan QR code. Everyone explains how to turn on the feature but my brand new phone with all the updates does not give the choice to enable QR reader.
