Galaxy SGood day.
Need your expert opinion regarding my s20 ultra display.
I had this issue that suddenly my screen just had a severe distortion. The phone is almost impossible to use. Can only perform power off, restart and safe mode during screen is distorted.
It started 2 days ago when my screen suddenly gets distorted while using it. I thought i cannot use it again. But after awhile it was functional again. Manage to back up some of my file and was able to perform cache cleaning. I was able to use it for awhile then the screen was distorted again. I had that scenario 3x on the 1st day it started but on the 2nd day, the display is distorted again and I cannot use the phone. I went to samsung service center for check up and they recommended for an lcd replacement i did not bother to change the lcd bcoz it was quite expensive and the unit is still more than 1 year.
I went to another authorize samsung service center for check and they also had the same recommendation. And still i did not opted for a replacement but instead went to a trading center for a trade to another unit.
Fortunately, during unit check up and online diagnostic, the display was perfroming normally. It lasted almost 30 minutes for functionality test, visual inspection for scratches and dents. Everything was done flawlessly until i had the appraised value ready for trading for another device. I opted yet not to bcoz i wanted to observe the unit more. After the check up the phone was operational in all features, viewing movies, online surfing, and etc. All are working normally. I am still using the unit for almost 5 hours after the check up and until this typing.
In your opinion, base of what i have gone through.
Is it a hardware issue?
A software issue?
I almost uninstalled all apps other than default.
Will my expensive device come to an end soon? 🤣 its almost 2 yr old.
Pls enlighten possible cause if any. Thank you in advance 😁. This might be the end of my unit soon considering those kind of scenario..

Any thoughts?
Is it possible there was a silent update during my online?

Im hoping my s20 ultra will last longer as expected.

Galaxy SThe stabilization module gets stuck and doesn't let the lens to focus infinity. Once u shake the phone, the stabilization resets and thus u can see the photo in focus.

Galaxy SNow that i have fixed my s20 ultra, it really is a different device. The focus hunting and the blurry pics all gone.. but took me 3 camera modules to get it right.
Each module costed me $75.
