S20+ White Screen/Green Screen Problem

My phone has recently experienced a White Screen on October 28, 2021 as I was normally using my phone. I had to soft reset the device multiple times before luckily it went back to normal. Two weeks have gone by and occasionally I would still get the white screen but it goes back to normal after awhile. On November 10 just 1 day after the new software update my phone completely went into a white screen again and has not recovered since. I went to the nearest Support Center and they've told me that it's already for LCD replacement with the quoted pricing. I inquired on the reasons as to how it might have become "broken" and they said that it's due to the phone being pressured or being dropped. I find this odd as I use my phone as every person would and my phone is protected with a protective case made to avoid what has happened. My phone is in good condition and there are no dents and even scratches.

Hope it will be assessed fairly. Got mine since march 2020 (launching) and took care of the device very well until today. It feels like I was scammed with the quality S20 ultra offered to me during launch 😞😭please consider free repair 😭😞

can someone please help, same problem here, exactly 2 years and all of my accounts were there, i cant access it. San po pwede ma locate ang service centers nyo near cavite area

unfortunately, the only solution is to take my phone to a Samsung service center. It is disappointing that for the first time in the many years that I've owned different  Samsung phones,  this happened to my S20 ultra and it hasn't been 2 years since I got this.

same issue here... my S20+ bought 1.5yrs ago went down on 11/17/21 all flickering white screen... i also read many of similar issues in yt and here... samsung management should act on this asap or many will change brand.

Samsung does not care about consumer. Same happened with me. Boycott Samsung.

Every after update, many s20 users experienced this. Sad that this lind was once their flagship phone.

Happened to me as well yesterday and it did not recovered today. Brought mine to Samsung service center in SM megamall hoping for a fair repair.

I HAVE THE SAME ISSUE WITH MY S20 ULTRA. HINDI NABAGSAK NOR BINASA KO SIYA. WHILE WORKING ON MY PC, NAKATAGO LANG ANG S20 ULTRA KO SA DRAWER AT I NEED TO OPEN IT ONCE MY NOTIFICATIONS AND YON NA NGA PAGKA BUKAS KO NG DRAWER THE SCREEN OF MY S20 BIGLANG NAG WHITE SCREEN. I PANICKED AND SO FOUND THE FORUMS ONLINE ABOUT S20 ULTRA WHITE SCREEN ISSUE AND FOLLOW SOME RECOMMENDED STEPS, GUMANA SIYA ULIT FOR A COUPLE OF MINUTES AFTER PERFORMING THE HARD RESTART (PRESS AND HOLD VOL DOWN KEY AND POWER SIMULTANEOUSLY PERO BUMALIK SIYA SA WHITE SCREEN A COUPLE OF MINUTES. 

Nag email ako sa CEO Samsung Philippines and suggested to have it inspected by their authorised service centre para daw ma assess ang issue at kung Android System related daw ang problem.

 

I'll keep you posted pag naka usap ko na service centre ng mega mall para ma heads up kayo kung anong hakbang ng Samsung in regard to this issue.
