S20+ White Screen/Green Screen Problem

My phone has recently experienced a White Screen on October 28, 2021 as I was normally using my phone. I had to soft reset the device multiple times before luckily it went back to normal. Two weeks have gone by and occasionally I would still get the white screen but it goes back to normal after awhile. On November 10 just 1 day after the new software update my phone completely went into a white screen again and has not recovered since. I went to the nearest Support Center and they've told me that it's already for LCD replacement with the quoted pricing. I inquired on the reasons as to how it might have become "broken" and they said that it's due to the phone being pressured or being dropped. I find this odd as I use my phone as every person would and my phone is protected with a protective case made to avoid what has happened. My phone is in good condition and there are no dents and even scratches.

Hi ! Same issue, got mine upgraded na lang to S21 Ultra and paid 14k for the excess price of the S21. I find it unfair since it wasn't my fault my device broke down and I wasn't planning on replacing it. They didn't even discounted the price or gave me additional stuffs for the problem and the inconvinience they've caused. Samsung will lose to other android manufacturers and that's for sure. Incompetent, very bad customer service and lots of problem with their devices not to mention SUPER DUPER OVER THE BAKOD HEATING PROBLEM. Will never buy samsung flagships anymore.

Hello I had same experience with your phone may I ask ano na nagyare sa phone mo? i went to service center then sinabe lang nila na sira LCD then give me quotation 13k but I dont know what happened sa phone ko sobrang ingat ko gumamit ng phone 😞 TIA

My wife had this problem, and as soon as I took it out of the "protective" MAGNETIC case, restarted the phone twice, and for two weeks now, no more problems.

I have the same issue with my S20 Ultra. I hope SC will get it fixed.

Had the same issue. downloaded os12 around 2nd week ng January 2022 on my S20 Ultra. Then about 2 to 3 days later came another update, after a day or 2 on the latest update, i used the phone before going to sleep one night and was working fine (handset did not get wet nor was dropped) and then once i woke up. BOOOM! Flickering white and green na yung display ko. I tried to canvas and research how much replacing LCD costs and they are a staggering 13-16k. I took it to Samsung Service Center Megamall and told them the story. that i had recently updated the software and they tried to check and asses if it really was recently updated and had it left there for repair. Finally got the phone back 2 days ago with FREE replacement of the LCD and Battery. It might be critical to tell their reps that you recently updated your software so they will cover the expenses. If hindi mo proactive na sinabi. They wont ask and will charge you the full amount of the LCD replacement even if they know this is an ongoing issue with S20s on recent software updates.

Yes po. They did. And had no means of backing up any data i had previously aside of what i already backed up from way way before. So now i back up impt things regularly and make sure that important files and apps are atleast password protected if applicable. I really considered to stop any products and svcs i have with samsung if they were to make me pay for the replacement. But since hindi, ill continue to support them
