Hi, anyone here experienced their phone's back cover coming off? I just noticed mine (21 Ultra) had a slight gap at the lower left of the back cover to the point a fingernail can lift it up. The phone was never been submerged in any liquid or got wet in any form. I'm worried that it has already compromised the IP rating of the phone.

Do you guys have any idea gow much will it cost to have it fixed in the service center?

Hello, experienced it with my note 10 plus although for me I guess it's just the glue becoming less effective. Wear and tear?

If I remember it correctly, I tried to bring it to a service center but they didn't mention how much it would cost at all. Device not anymore under warranty. I just didnt continue with the service because of the time it will take to finish.

The phone's battery might already be bulging. The cost depends if the battery needs to be replaced also.

Hey there, jsmndz! Your best bet would be to visit a nearby service center so you can get your phone checked by our pro techs! The price would highly depend on the situation, so we can't really provide an answer here.

Don't worry, we made it easy for you to book an appointment! You can do so directly from your Samsung Members app, just right under the Support tab. 😉 Do let us know how it goes! We hope you get it fixed soon so you can fully enjoy your Galaxy S21 Ultra! 📱

Two things: either it's glue wear and tear, or it's a battery issue. I took my Note20Ultra March this year, glue replacement is around 400, battery replacement is around 3600.

Li ion batteries start to swell when they begin to go bad.  The phone also may be getting very warm while charging.

This is happening to me right now with my S21 Ultra.  I plan on going to Verizon and getting an edge enclosure to mitigate the problem.  Otherwise I'll replace the phone.

Sadly, Samsung removed battery replaceability from the customer.  In my older phones, I used to be able to buy replacement batteries. Now they want you to replace the phone.  Ridiculous.

I have the same issue. Looks like the glue used was substandard...

I'm so "ultra" dismayed by this...
