I have a Sennheiser PXC 550 bluetooth headset, it used to work perfectly on my Samsung S10e, since i have upgraded to the S22, i am having issues with the bluetooth .

It connects , but i have a weird behavior.

Upon first connection the first phone call i make works fine, any subsequent phone calls dont give any audio, bluetooth stays connected.

The same behavior with Music (spotify) , upon first connection it works fine . If i stop audio and play after a while it doesnt give any audio.

The work around at the moment is to disable bluetooth on the S22 and turn off the headset, turn on headset , turn on bluetooth on the S22 and it works again for the first phone call only.

I cant be doing this after every call . This behavior did not occur on the previous phone the Samsung S10e.

I have tried the below :

-Remove device from paired and repaired (multiple times)

-Remove and clear bluethooth app cach storage.

- Phone restarted multiple times.

looking for a solution to this.

Hi @visionary,

An additional suggestion I have would be to reset network settings. Please note that this will forget any previously-connected Wi-Fi networks and unpair all Bluetooth devices.

Settings > General Management > Reset > Reset network settings > RESET NETWORK SETTINGS

Let me know how it goes!

I have tried all the options for this for my dad and am having the same issue.

I can't clear the cache because the options are greyed out and stuck at 14.34. I've tried resetting connection settings and clearing the phone cache but now I can't connect to any Bluetooth device. There is a massive thread on reddit with multiple people having the same issue since the Android 13 update. I also tried to uninstall the Bluetooth updates and that was also greyed out.

His truck only let's messages come through and sometimes calls. For 2023 this is dumb. I'm hoping the push through an update for everyone soon.

Hey @Shaunie

Thanks for reaching out. I suggest sending an error report within 2-3 minutes of the issue occurring for this to be investigated by our research and development team. Error reports assist with identifying any deviations in your device performance. Once analyzed, our team will get back to you with a response to advise further steps.

To send an error report for a wearable, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Galaxy Wearables app > click on the device desired on the side menu
  2. In the side menu, tap Contact us > Error reports (in the Get help section)
  3. Fill in details and the frequency of the issue that you have with the wearable.
  4. Click send.

Kind Regards,
