Hi, writing here to voice out my frustration about my SAMSUNG S22+ GREENLINE PROBLEM. My s22+ is near mint condition, merely a physical scratch on my phone. planning to use for a long time, as support for samsung is 4 years. Just 2 years use, the phone started to give me greenline..

Ive visited SAMSUNG SC I-CITY SHAH ALAM last night, for the free amoled replacement programme, the staff checked, then informed me s22+ is not elligible for the programme. ONLY FOR S22 ULTRA. WHAT? did i got this phone for free? Ive PAID GOOD, HARD EARNED MONEY for this phone. Suddenly samsung dont want to be responsible for THEIR AMOLED SCREEN'S WORLD KNOWN ISSUE.

Whats the sc solution??
Rm649 for amoled replacement (3-4hours) OR
Rm480 (if u leave the phone for 3-4 working days)
??????

To all samsung users, please voice your frustration at this platform & in social media group about this, or any issues!

Hmmm went to Samsung Service Center and a Samsung Experience Store in JB. BOTH says no more free repairs even for S22 Ultra and I was quoted RM1100+ for display replacement. I wonder why different locations says different things and quoting different prices. I understand if the cost will be higher due to stock availability but by so much?

S22 ultra user here. Phone in mint condition. One green line appeared 3 weeks ago and a week after that, another line appeared. Missed the earlier programme by about 3/4 months which ended in Mar.

Doing it outside costs RM1000+ but only takes 1-2 hrs. Same warranty for 3 months. Contemplating .... since no spare phone.

same problem. i have read many comments, and Samsung it's not taking responsibility. Many have written to them and the replies from Samsung is to "repair at your own cost"! many Samsung users are very frustrated, and have voiced that they will not use its devices anymore.  i'm wondering if there are any top/super fans out there who are also affected by this and would like to know how they feel.

Dont bother to use samsung phone. I had the green line issue after i updated software on my S22 Ultra. I lodge many report and went to Samsung center in Low Yat plaza and the representative there said there is no free screen replacement even thought this problem is recognised worldwide. Only India is giving free screen replacement for certain model. I already switch to iphone now despite many years as loyal samsung user. Samsung dont give a f about their customer.

I feel you...my Fold 3 also with multiple green lines, then white and now combo of green, white and red/pink! Wrote to Samsung, replied politely to take the phone to service centre to check. They did that and told me HQ said I have to pay for the repair/replacement screen myself...almost RM700! Worse still, after whatever they did to check my phone - be installing and update or sofware, my phone was/is laggy...it gets worse - this weekend, the speaker stopped working completely and I cant hear anyone who calls or I call!!!!!

This is a known global issue with their phones and they just pray it fails after warranty??? What kind of company is this anyway? So shameful!!!

I suggest everyone who has this problem, file a complaint with KPDNKK, its a tedious process and you need to push for a response but you will get one. I just got my case assigned to an officer yesterday and I'm meeting with him next Wednesday.

Am not sure what will come of it but I'm not letting this go.
