Hi. It's been weeks since I've noticed that my battery drains even if there are no app usage mentioned on the battery usage side. May i know if anyone experienced this and how did you solve it?

Hi vewiberi,

Smartphone batteries degrade over time, sometimes faster due to a number of reasons (e.g. background apps drawing power, connecting to several Bluetooth devices at once, overcharging / undercharging, bloating, environmental conditions, etc.) -- but not a problem isolated to your device.

If you notice that your battery doesn't last as long anymore, here's what you can do:

1. Minimize the number of background apps you have running. Make sure you take out any apps that were installed via unknown sources (if you used an .apk file to install an app, you might need to delete that as "modded apks" tend to have malware that runs in the background, eating up resources and battery power.)
2. Keep power saving mode on. If you aren't too keen on getting your battery replaced at the moment, keeping power saving mode on will help mitigate some of the battery drain and give you a bit more power on the go.
3. Get a power bank. We sell powerbanks at our Service Centers and Experience Stores, so make sure you drop by and pick one up.
4. Get a battery replacement. Head over to your nearest Samsung Service Center and ask for a battery replacement. It could take anywhere from 1-3 days, and they will be able to provide you with a loaner phone in the meantime, if you need one. This is the best way to solve this problem - a fresh battery usually breathes new life into an old device, and is a lot cheaper than replacing the phone entirely 😅

Please let us know if any of these help. Waiting for your update!

download a minimalist theme sa galaxy apps. usually dark minimalist theme. mas ok kung under 10mb or under 5mb or below pa. turn off unwanted features. mas clean mas maganda. prio nyu po lte signal lang. malakas talaga 5g drain sa battery. no need naman 5g sa pinas splice lang naman speed. iwas install ng apps with ads unless important sa daily life or daily drive. uninstall and disable unwanted apps. dami pa po secret kase pwede na tong tips ko.
