Hi I was just wondering wondering when the new major update would release for my phone. There were tons of stuff saying it would come out a while ago and I know ppl overseas that already have it on their phone which is exactly the same to mine.
Just wondering why it's taking so long to update and when would I get mine updated.

Thanks, any help is appreciated.

Are you joking?.. possible maybe sometime in 2024?
If that's the case I'm leaving Samsung (send it back for lacking ing performance), buy a Motorola

5 more days to go for 2024. Why you think it's a joke?

I agree . What does that mean . Hopefully but not guaranteed. The s22 series is supposed to receive 4 major software updates. Ui6 is the second one. It better be guaranteed and then 2 more as well

I appreciate your polite and very, very reasonable request for information. The update has been extraordinary slow. Overseas starting in October and in Australia from mid to late November. During December the rate of individual model updates released has increased even while complaints have escalated. My guess is that most updates, if not all, will have been released by mid-January,.

Why then is a flagship model such as the S22 still waiting whilst other models such as A series have received it in Australia? It's not xarrier related as i believe that no S22 in Australia has been able to OTA update on any carrier. Of course, Samsung have their head in the sand.

Because I would never a bought an A14 5G, just to run medical applications & items? For me it is a very very real lifeline to my Spinal Surgical Clinic.
In hindsight... should've stayed away from Samsung and just buy a cheap Nokia 5G instead.. it would have operated correctly and I still get to keep using my fantastic reliable & user friendly A11 (very underrated phone model)
