Hi anyone experience the same with S22 ultra my play store won't update my apps and download an apps its just stuck on pending download and won't do anything,I try all the basic trouble shooting online, clear cache, clear data and force stop the play store, play service and download manager, and I also try to remove my account and change to new create Google account and the problem still won't fix
and itry the soft reset and hard reset after reset it let me download apps and update my apps but after some update done the play store will be stuck again there's some update that trigger the play store to be stuck in pending update and download.
I already change the unit to new one but still the same.

Hey, I also factory reset again last night. But this time I put in my other SIM while activating. And everything still works, Play Store updates/install, Notifications, Google Prompt. So I don't know if it is a SIM compatibility issue or if something was fixed on Google's backend. Planning on getting the SIM replaced today anyway. I'm hoping that's it so I can finally enjoy my S22+.

hello! here's something that worked for me that might help even after using Smart Switch and having the Galaxy Store apps already updated:

1. Google Play Store - Clear Data
2. Restart phone in Safe Mode
3. While in Safe Mode, update/install apps in Google Play Store.

Tried to update Google Play Store while in Safe Mode. The Pending issue came back after doing this. I just tried to clear Google Play Store while in Safe Mode and it's fine again after that.

Have tried this but doesn't work on my S22. Apps not installing or updating even in Safe Mode.

So I gave up and switched my SIM back to my S20+.

Now I put in my other SIM into my S22+. Reset it last night, updated every app in the Play Store, Galaxy Store. And it works. Everything still updates/installs in the Play Store. My notifications are working perfectly now.

So I'm going to get my main SIM replaced with another or an eSIM.

So... don't know if anyone can confirm it is all working now, and maybe Google fixed something on their backend, or it really is a SIM issue, at least for me.

I'm still having issues. I encountered it multiple times yesterday and today. Doesn't seem like it has anything to do with Galaxy Store on my case. Everything's working fine for me this morning. I just went out for a couple of hours and when I got home, my issues came back.

I can't tell if it's a sim issue as I do not have a spare one, and the available appointment is in 2 weeks. So I think I'll have to live with this for a while

Edit: It's probably the SIM, SIM toolkit, or network related. I tried to remove my SIM, cleared SIM toolkit data, reset network settings, turned off my phone and wiped cache partition, restarted my phone, and reconnected to Wi-Fi.

I was able to download from Play Store and my notifications worked. When I reinserted my SIM, my issues came back after a while.

I can confirm it was my SIM. I had it replaced and everything worked.

Such a strange issue. How can a SIM make everything from the Play Store to notifications to whatever else be flaky.

Anyway, hopefully we actually sorted out the issue. Glad to hear you got it working as well. We can finally enjoy our phone!

Confirming that it is the SIM. I can't have my SIM replaced yet so I used a new prepaid SIM. It's working well so far.
