Anyone has faced the same issue when using a 45W charger and your S23 Ultra only shows "Super Fast Charging" instead of "Super Fast Charging 2.0"?

In addition, the "Super Fast Charging" option under our Battery Settings is not present at all.

I have reached out to the product support and raised this concern, however he doesn't know what is the issue.

Any thoughts?

Are you using a 5A cable? Make sure that the cable supports 5A.

Yes I'm using 5A 100W cable + 45W charging brick

Not all 45w (or above) chargers can provide 45w Programmable Power Supply output. For Anker, their new chargers support 45w PPS for Samsung. That includes the 736 Nano II, 717 140w, and the new Anker Ace 45w adapters. Samsung's own 45w charger does that, too. Are you using one of the mentioned adapters?

I am using Ugreen 45W charging brick.

Got your point seems like only Anker products does support this and samsumg 45W charger.

For sure other brands will follow the new PPS spec.

It is correct though that there is something wrong with Android 13 and the way it shows SFC or SFC 2.0 in the notifications shade and the lock screen. Regardless, it will still be SFC or SFC 2.0 when plugged in with a compatible adapter and cable. I am using a UGREEN 100W cable and an Allite A2 Adapter and it shows SFC 2.0 for a tad second and shows to "Charging".Screen_Recording_20230217_110914_Device_care_1_AdobeExpress.gif

Yeah, you experience it as well.

That is why it would be difficult to identify whether it is a android version, device or charging adapter and cable is the problem.

But rest assured that SFC 2.0 is in place. I used Ampere app to compute the watts and it is still reaching almost 45w.

Yup, once available I will upgrade my gears.
