S24 Plus google maps keeps losing gps signal

I have a S24 Plus.

Google maps keeps losing gps signal but other gps apps work fine, I ran a satellite test app with google maps at the same time on split screen view, and gps test app works fine but google maps lost gps signal and navigation just pauses. Happens intermittently when driving .

I have reset cache, deleted and reinstalled the app with no luck.

Anyone else having this issue ?

the internet connection is always stable ?
On battery settings is unrestricted?

Yes tried all that, no difference

same issue here, been tracking using waze and google maps on split screen, waze always working, google maps stops for minutes, waiting for satellite, lost. swapped to S24plus from S23Ultra which worked perfectly, think it was not a cleaver move

Yeah I'm using waze as well with no issue and gps works fine when cycling so problem is google maps on the s24plus

Same issue here, my last samsung google maps worked perfectly but the s24 plus is *** at it

Exactly facing the same issue. So tough to navigate and having issues missing turns and not knowing where i am going.

Same issue, also recently upgraded to S24 (from S10) and signal keeps dropping - which isn't happening with my partners Apple phone or on my Waze app.
Quite frustrating when I'm used to it being reliable.

Exactly the same probs with mine as well! To the point I was about to return the phone as faulty! I don't understand what the h... is going on!
