Hi All,

I've searched everywhere and cannot find a fix, I've seen many other posters from around the world with the same issue.

The 200MP and 50MP photos appear to look great when taken. As soon as you view in gallery it adds post processing and completely destroys the photos with unrealistic lighting and colours.

Is anyone here facing this issue? I'm fed up with this phone and the support provided (Which has been sorry can't be fixed) It makes me feel as though the 50mp and 200mp camera is a gimmick and not actually usable.

I've tried turning off Intelligent Optimization, Super HDR, Pro Mode, Expert Raw, Camera Assistant settings, High Efficiency images and much more.

I know how to use a camera and have never seen such ridiculous processing added to a photo.

They wont be fixing it. I think they try to disguise the fact that the higher mp cameras are lower quality by over using software and AI.

I have the same issue with my s24U, especially in low light, I had an iPhone 14 pro max before this which took amazing photos, what you see in the viewfinder is what you get. but with the s24U, as soon as you take the picture and think it looks good, a notification shows up on the top left saying "refining photo" and Baam!, your picture is messed up beyond belief, it becomes unusable. I also tried everything from disabling adaptive pixel, super HDR, auto HDR, scene optimizer, raw pro... only the 12mp mode is usable right now, and I didn't pay $1300 for this. I was torn between the s24U and the Oneplus 12 but I regret my decision, the OnePlus 12 camera couldn't possibly be worse than this, nothing could.

I've just fixed 10 photos I took for an assessment. They looked great until I viewed them again. What is going on ??

I also have this isue it's indeed rediculous for such an expensive phone.

I have removed the permissions of the samsung gallery app. It is "refining" the images which to me seems more like destroying the images. I use google photos instead of the galary app to view photo's and can't open the phoro's from the camera anymore, but it seems like the only solution for this problem and I think Samsung should have an option to turn this behaviour from the Galary of.

The Camera hardware on this phone is great but the software and AI messing up of photos (and also video stabilisation) are awfull.
