Have anyone experienced diagonal line on the display? I wonder if this is normal for Samsung display. 
I understand that it's barely noticeable in different room lighting conditions.

Story short, I went to the Garden Mid-Valley service centre today afternoon to raise the issue..
But they're comparing the screen with computer monitor screen saying that it's normal. Honestly, I don't see my computer lcd screen have those lines.

It looks like a grainy texture.
If you noticed (and not to be confused with), grainy textures appear in Quick Panel since OneUI 5.1 but that is for color banding compensation due to blurring, which is also a basic trick in photography to mask color banding. FYI).

Coincidentally, there are some articles I read before, and you're not alone. Seems like manufacturing defect so maybe you can get replacement handset fingers crossed.

I went to the service centre, they said the phone display had no issues and it's normal. I tried to argue with them, and they came back to me with my phone display taken from a microscope, not only that they even compared with PC monitor led. 😑

I tried to ask what is the policy for returning the phone. I really cannot accept this kind of quality.

Just wanted to change to Samsung from iPhone. Man! This is annoying

They must've been confused with the Moire effect with LCD screens 😆 not sure who they hired for the service centre representatives.
Is ur S24U one of the first batch btw?

I guess so.. Checking from device info, the phone was manufactured on December 23, 2023.

Their admin told me to go to any service centre for a physical inspection. If that's the answer from them, then I think I am not going to waste my time to go to the service centre. How long did you got your phone bro?

The technician told me the lines are the characteristics of the amoled screen. Since we are the only people found the issue and complaining about it. Not many people do, so it's not a major problem for them. We just a small potato 🥔

Nope.. I did not enable Eye Confort Shield. That can only be accessed if enable Eye Confort Shield.
