I recently acquired the Samsung S24 Ultra in the yellow color variant. While I am generally pleased with the device, I have encountered a significant issue with the speaker volume.

The speakers on the S24 Ultra are noticeably quieter compared to previous models such as the S22 Ultra and S23 Ultra. This necessitates increasing the volume to approximately 80% or higher to achieve a satisfactory audio level for movies or music.

It is concerning that this issue appears to be a software or tuning problem, given that the device has already been released to the public. I would like to ascertain if other users are experiencing similar difficulties.

Have you opened the volume window and had a look at it?
What I mean is, when playing media via the Samsung Music app, there is a volume slide for that app and there is also a 2nd media slide next to it, both which affect volume of music being played back.

Personally, I ran my music volume around the same level on my S23U previously and my Flip5 as well as the S24U.

Another point to consider:

When I connect my wired earphones to play music, there is no issue with music or sound volume. My setting is usually at 2/3rd range (phone) and half way on the noise isolating earbuds.

This leads me to believe that bluetooth or phone speaker issues are program related!

I'd love to read your (plural) experience as well.

Thanks.

Hi. Have you checked the SOUND QUALITY AND EFFECTS particularly the Dolby Atmos? 😊

Certainly, Dolby Atmos was enabled. (I also attempted with it disabled, and the results were equally unsatisfactory.)

I recommend running a diagnostic test on your device and sending an error report through so Samsung tech can check what's happening with the device. Sorry I couldn't help further.

I have attempted to communicate with them to rectify the situation, however, they are reluctant to acknowledge their error.

No accountability from Samsung.
