I recently acquired the Samsung S24 Ultra in the yellow color variant. While I am generally pleased with the device, I have encountered a significant issue with the speaker volume.

The speakers on the S24 Ultra are noticeably quieter compared to previous models such as the S22 Ultra and S23 Ultra. This necessitates increasing the volume to approximately 80% or higher to achieve a satisfactory audio level for movies or music.

It is concerning that this issue appears to be a software or tuning problem, given that the device has already been released to the public. I would like to ascertain if other users are experiencing similar difficulties.

There is a small improvement in sound quality for the inphone speaker once the Adapt Sound setting was changed to "Above 60yrs" and custom option for equalizer was set at top range (all).

I ran through all the trouble shooting steps with my S23 Ultra and now with my S24 Ultra. At this point unless they recall these devices, there is no point even going to a technician. The speakers cannot handle the power. No Software tuning will fix the issue. My old Galaxy did it from day one, now this one.

Yes, tried everything possible to adjust volume and quality via equalizer, age related sound boosting, Dolby Atmos, Bluetooth sound limits, etc.

Have you tried a 3rd party app called volume boost by GOODEV. I've used this on the 22Ultra as the volume has to be cranked right up despite doing all the 'tricks'

Yes, I have the same issue. Not sure what need to be done at this point. 🤞🏻if samsung can get to fix somehow hopefully. I haven't taken this issue to samsung because I know they will say it's not an issue from their side.

I agree with your observation about the s24U sound quality. The speaker is less powerful than my N20U5G.

Moreover, I am not able to set up the volume of my Bluetooth speaker (JBL C4) or noise isolating earbuds so the music covers minor background noises.

This is very disappointing 😞!!!

I encourage Samsung to include a patch for thos issue in the next update!

Bottom line samsung screwed up thinking no one wants to use the internal speakers for more then gaming and sports. Putting a case on them really trashes the sound. They changed the speaker(s) location, phasing and direction I think. They are directed out the screen now instead to and bottom.

So @samsung #support #s24soundsucks
