Everyone knows the S24 Ultra camera is a disappointment. With its grain and blur, it's a joke. After hoping Samsung would fix it with the S25 Ultra, they just pumped out a new phone with the same trash camera.

I tried it in-store, and when taking a photo of people walking past brightly lit shops, they were blurred. The telephoto lens is as dismal as expected. It's now just 5OMP, instead of 12MP, but its just quantity of image data, not quality.

Samsung, instead of cramming AI bells and whistles into the camera, maybe improve your hardware. The fact that the S22 Ultra is better, and the Google Pixel 9 stomps your new phone, is a problem. You've barely updated the hardware in-general, opting to maximising AI to give the illusion of improvements.

I know I can get a discount by trading in my phone for the S25, but it's not worth the money. Do better. You can't even take a photo in broad daylight, without people blurring just because they're walking. Zooming in only reveals grainy, detail-less trash. Maxing out AI to un-potato your poor-quality photos isn't a solution.

Stop pumping out junk; or if you're going to pump it out junk anyway, at least don't insist it's the best camera ever. We aren't iPhone syncopants; you can't bluff us about progress and think we'll believe it. It below average, they all are, and brand loyalty is wearing thin.

Your S25 is basically just a S24 with AI software upgrades, bundled with a built-in subscription model. You stopped caring about your customers, and it shows.

This is what I've been looking for.  I've debated about trying one in the store again.  I tried all the tweaks on the S24U to improve motion blur but it didn't work very well.  Some early reviews indicated the S25 has a quicker shutter and better *whatever* for motion blur.  Guess not.

I don't see an issue with the S24U camera. Apart from a dead pixel after a few months ownership and having a replacement phone sent through which has worked fine since.
