I have a specific use case for my S24 Ultra.
I use it for IRL streaming.
Since the latest UI update, Samsung have locked the API for the cameras for 3rd party camera apps.
What this means is that the image stabilization is non existent for my live streams using IRL Pro or any other 3rd party apps and the video quality is now terrible and unwatchable.
I bought the S24 ultra because of the amazing camera and video quality.
This is really disappointing.
Furthermore, Samsung won't issue me a return authority so I can't return it to the store I purchased it from for a refund.
Very disappointed with Samsung.

On the Community page, top right, use the search option for warranty, consumer affairs, Australian government warranty, not fit for purpose, some posts are more detailed than others so read a number of them.

So a guy named "Daniel" from Samsung customer service called me regarding this issue.
He said he wouldn't issue a refund. The phone needs to be diagnosed at a service centre, however, Daniel also said that a refund would not be issued if I went down this route, as "there is nothing wrong with the phone" as it's a software issue and it's my fault for installing the update.
Apparently Daniel is the highest ranking person there, and there's no one else I can talk to that's higher than him. 😂
So it looks like I'll have to investigate consumer law and take this in a different direction.
