Im from Syndey, Australia. I bought a S21 5G about a month ago. i had the Samsung screen protector on. One morning i picked up the phone from charging and the scree broke. How???. i then sent the phone to Samsung Repair and Now they said because of a Hair line crack at the bottom of the screen near the charging port, I need to pay $415 to get it repaired. What a load of **bleep**.  A Hair line crack slipped underneath the screen protertor You guys put on??. How about not making the **bleep** thing so sensitive. Putting the charger into the the charging port damaged the screen??

To add salt to the experience, I had to wait for  1 hour in line at 1 of 2 only Samsung Stores in the whole Syndey, inside Parramatta shopping mall. It was a Thursday night so a late Shopping night and they had only 3 team members on to help customers. Other people in line before me all waited more then 1 hour and had to leave because they could not carry on waiting. When it was my turn, they simply said they did not have time for me today and I need to make a booking and comeback?? What the hell mate?? It was 8:00 pm, they were closing at 9:00pm and i had been waiting since 7:00pm

There were more issues along the way too, small issues but they make you wonder how the **bleep** thing operates as a company

I probably will go a head with the **bleep** repair because i already paid an arm and a leg for the **bleep** thing and it is my main phone. Everyone needs a phone

I just want to post it here and everywhere else i can post this message so people know about the **bleep** disaster of using a samsung device. Cheers!

This is certainly a **bleep** situation but your phone can't just randomly crack on its own. In the end its a cracked screen no? It isn't a manufactures fault.

Also I have the Note10+ with the preinstalled screenprotector. Which I'm assuming is the same for S21 series. Its for scratch protection. Can't expect too much of it if your phone happens to be dropped.

Can't say so much for instore experience so that does **bleep** /:

As i mentioned the phone has no visible scratches whatsoever. The hairline crack is what they said, and it was near the edge where the screen  meets the charging port, that what they said too

However why would you make a phone that expensive so sentivie to damage?. The phone is so new so i was still the phase of "carefully handling at all time"

I do agree with the comment above. Samsung has not benefit to get us upset and for sure screen cannot brokes by itself.
Are you sure about a pressure on the screen? I had my tempered glass cracked for that days ago

It is not a good one but... Sometimes it is simply a matter of lucky.
I dropped weeks ago one of nine from really 50cm and... It was a disaster.
It's happened another time but for something like meters with no issue due to soft floor.
Did you looked for a repair quotation?

Woah, calm down, some devices get ruined in the manufacturing process. Your just one of the lucky ones who somehow manage to get the factory faulty ones. Anyway, enjoy paying $415!
