Hello! May I ask if there's anyone who had encountered an issue after the latest software update? I noticed that my battery health deteriorated after updating my phone last December 12, and my phone usage remained the same but my battery was drained faster than usual. It even shut down even though I'm supposed to have 15% battery left. Please help, I'm starting to regret updating the software of my phone. Thank you!

Just sharing, last year, after update(forgot what ui), my phone stopped working. Service center said I had issue with battery and they fixed it. It's still covered by the one year warranty so I have not paid fees. Hopefully samsung will fix these issues together with the green light issue, this made me hesitate to update currently

Please don't, it will mess up the battery life. I already raised this issue with technical support, they just advised me to bring the device to the nearest Service Center. It's such a headache for me because I know that I'll have to lose money for a repair that is not needed if only I didn't update the software of my phone. This is a lesson learned the hard way, I guess.

Hello, just to give you and update I went to the Service Center and they confirmed that the update damaged my battery, however, they also told me that it was not advisable to skip the updates as it may affect the phone's performance. I suggest that you have your unit checked after updating it, since mine almost exploded since the battery can't handle the software update and a replacement is already needed. I hope this helps tho 😊

Hi! Just to confirm, did you pay for the battery replacement even if the cause of damage was software update?

Hello! Unfortunately, I have to pay for it since there's no warranty anymore 🥲
