Samsung S22 preorder gift missing? Redemption?

Hi there

I preordered the samsung s22 through the Australian online samsung store and arranged to get it picked up at the samsung store in parramatta. When I went to pick my order up it was in a startrack package so I wasn't able to check what was inside until I got home. When I got home and opened up my order everything was there except for my samsung buds gift that I selected as my preorder gift. I thought if you preordered through the online samsung store you wouldn't have to go through the redemption process. Did samsung stuff up here?

Hi @princeflurry, yes that's correct. You should be able to check your order status in your Samsung store account under 'Orders'. :)

But the problem is, there is no option for Samsung Online Store

Hi,  I ordered my phone thrugh Vodafone. I have sent Samsung the info they required 3 times and get the answers back that the SN is the incorrect one. I also sent Samsung an email explaining this a week ago, as of now, no reply. What is going on?

We require the Proof of Purchase to have the following information:

 

  • Date of Purchase (must be within the promotion period outlined in the Terms and Conditions)
  • Purchased Product
  • Retailer/Reseller/Name of the service provider where the product was purchased from

 

I have Telstra order references, I have screenshots that show the handset is on my online account, my bill does not generate until the end of the month and we dont want to miss out on the promotion.

The email confirmation from simply says "thank you for your order" with no detils or receipt!

I have been to telstra store, called them an tried numerous chats an no one can send a receipt for proof of purchase an we dont want to.miss the promotion.

I can send you screen shots of everything to prove all of the above, pls help!

I am on the same boat. I called them and they hung up on me. I used chat and they told me to email them but I have 14 days to contact them or my claim is invalid. I am going to the ACCC. 

The issue is this. Samsung wants an invoice. Telstra can't provide one. Samsung has a redemption close date that is impossible to meet if Telstra can't provide an invoice. 

Samsung redemption department sounds like it is in India and extremely difficult to hear. They repeat themselves and hang up without wanting to sort the issue out.

Log in to your Telstra account and you can see your payment and receipt of your purchase from there.

Hi. I took the s22 through telstra. The phone turned up, the buds have turned up but I missed the delivery on the tablet. Sumsung have placed a restricted delivery on the package meaning it can't be left at the post office, picked up from the depot (covi) or be redelivered. I have tracked the package back to Sydney (I am in melb). I have spoken to Startrack and Samsung a number of times, Samsung have just sent me around in circles, it's clear this is too difficult for them. I was asked to email the promo. au address, I have not had a reply in over a week. What do I do?

On 3rd March I placed an order for a  Samsung S22 Ultra through Vodaphone.

I was also supposed to receive the Bonus Pack - and duly ordered using the promotion number I was provided with 

It is now 28th April.

Despite several attempts at communication with Samsung, I am yet to receive even a response as to what has happened!

This is pathetic.

For such a brilliant phone, you've let yourselves down with a hopeless promotion.

I am at my wits end and will look at going to consumer affairs or perhaps A Current Affair.

They love these sorts of stories!!!~!

I did all that and received a new Redemption code, which I used as per your instructions

However, somehow I have now been charged for the pack !
