Samsung S22 ultra not connecting Android auto

i was wondering if people are still having connection errors to android auto with they're samsung ultra S22

I was able to connect no probs with my one plus phone before upgrading to ultra S22 and 5 month still nothing 

The car stereo i'm using is Sony  XAV-AX3250 (Updated to its latest version as is my mobile phone with latest software)

Seems stupid that a £370 pound stereo and  £1200 mobile this is still having problems unless I'm missing something

I was going to suggest that this is a common issue if having used smart switch to transfer Android auto from the old phone. Try uninstalling the app and reinstalling. I had this issue and it didn't get fixed. I then set up a wired connection first by plugging in the Galaxy S22 with a cable. After establishing a wired connection initially, the issue was fixed :) let know if that fixes it up :)

Yes, still having the issue. Have carried out all the updates i can, used the original cable with USB connectors (2 and 3). Tried other cables, uninstalling smart switch etc and it just does not want to work. My partners S21 and my old S10 work perfectly.

My car is new and the stereo software is up to date. So frustrating.
