First of all, i just got an update on 25 march and on 1st april i just got a vertical line out of nowhere when i play tiktok. If the line appear because of damage from dropping well i take a good care my phone. Well im using s21 ultra eventhough its a bit old but still why after the update the screen get green line. Sorry to say but samsung didn't help well. although it's not our fault because of this green line, the phone is in good condition, never dropped, or even got into water, why the warranty must have expired at the end of the march? Why must the green line appear after the screen replacement wareanty? Is as samsung want to hand over the screen replacement bill to user eventhough its not our fault. still have to pay? Samsung doesn't even know whose fault it is.. Samsung's internal problem now.
I hope Samsung will take action and give more guarantees for this vertical line..
My satisfaction to use the phone dropped because the green line, it hurts my eyes!!!

Uni student here too. And yes, they really suggested that because screen repair is already that expensive. Plus, we just missed their free screen replacement period (ended March). I went to their sales office, asked them how much my S20+ is worth if I switch to A35, they told me RM190, which means it's still going to cost me RM1000+ to get a new phone... you can read my problem here: https://r1.community.samsung.com/t5/galaxy-s/vertical-green-line-after-software-update/td-p/26391515...

Samsung really needs to consider their customers who only started having this issue in April.

We... are a bit too broke for that... I noticed the moderator commented on your post. Were they willing to do anything?

Wow. I really hope they take notice of our situation. It's really unfair. I might as well switch back to my old phone (6 year old Huawei base-line phone, still runs well, only has a fast-draining battery). I've read that the green lines can spread, and I can't risk my current phone's condition getting worse because I need it for something important for the next few months.

Guys should have known the day u buy the device that samsung is not known for its durability. Many ppl still buy japanese car and appliances.some switch china products. I feel ashamed when i tell my colleagues this vertical line is meant for samsung screen and smartphone. It is what it is. I still hope samsung replace the screen for my collection.
