Should I change my phone's battery?

I notice that my battery has been draining quite faster than expected 

My daily screen time is just around 8 hours 

(Highest being 9+hour)

And My battery just doesn't do that well

I usually just play games that doesn't require a lot of performance that can drain battery dramatically and My phone has adaptive refresh rate

Not to mention that my resolution is at the lowest.i notice that by increasing my resolution to QHD+ the difference of the battery time is almost negligible (just above 8 hours)

My phone also get abnormally hot when playing games( it's the exynos 2100 version so it's obvious why)

Due to that I can't charge my phone immediately after using it 

I use a original Samsung 45w charger and still found the phone at high temperature every 30 mins of charging which I am forced to unplug

So I don't let the battery deteriorate even more 

I'm using a s21 ultra for around 2-3 years now 

I did use some app to see the battery health and it says its still healthy 

Would love to hear your opinion and I would like to know when you would change your phone's battery

You need to change the phone not the battery and give away this phone. I'll send you my address 😂

Usually phone battery will degrading after years depends on how u use ur phone from early days, its common thing with all brands. It's what we called wear n tear. The difference is whether whether its degrade fast or not. If u still love the 21 ultra u can go service centre to do battery replacement or trade in n get new one instead. Hope this helps🙏

I still have the original battery on my galaxy note 9. Have to charge it 2-3 times a day. With heavy usage.

Hi!

I am using multiple devices and this is what I observe:

• It's common to have battery degradation after using the device for a period of time - especially so if you use it for gaming and long hours of social media. (usually after 2 years);
• 8-9 hour SOT for a 2-3 year device is excellent and definitely does not require a battery change - if it drops below 7 hours you might consider replacing;
• Most flagship phones are designed for gaming w/o the charger plugged in, unless you use an external cooler (e.g. Asus ROG Phone/Black Shark) - similar to gaming laptops, either sacrifice performance for portability/design or vice-versa;
• All high-speed chargers (PD) are designed to push max wattage during the first 50% of your charge, and will slow down after to prevent overheating - as long as you don't use your phone much during this period there should be no issues (certain casings trap heat in your phone).
