Hi there,

I notice this smudge on my samsung phone s21 ultra recently, it wipes off easily with micro cloth but appears after use of few hours.

My phone use to overheat and samsung repair center has replaced main board of it but they did nothing about display as technicians told me that there is nothing wrong with it and they have done extensive checks on display and found nothing wrong.

However, they have seen this smudge on screen twice when i handed over to them but refuse to accept that there is something wrong with it. They kept my ph okne with them for another 2 days to test and called me saying the same thing that there is nothing wrong and patch didnt appear after using for 2 days.

Now, Can overheating of the device affect any coating (if there is any) on the display?

If nothing is wrong then why is it that screen is smudged at the same place?

After escalting it further with Samsung itself, now they are saying screen is damaged (no physical damage or even scratch to the phone) but due to excessive use?

What is excessive use? I don't play games over even use it for business purposes. Are we suppose to use our phones for x amount of hours per day? Does it say anywhere on samsung policy or terms and conditions?

If screen is damaged due to excessive use then why does smudge wipes off with micro cloth? Isnt it a permanent damaged to the lcd due to EXCESSIVE use?

Please advise.

Thanks

S
