Text Messages

Since the recent upgrade my cursor starts in the text section of messages. It used to start with the cursor in the contacts section. So every time I compose a new message I need to move my cursor into contacts to select my contact 1st. Does anyone know if I can change this so my cursor starts in contacts and not in the body of the new message? Tks

There’s no setting to return it back unfortunately

However, you can Send Feedback via Samsung Members Support and request for it

I assume you are referring to Samsung Messages. Yes, it now defaults to the body when creating a new message.

If you need that feature, your best option now is to switch to Google Messages. It defaults to selecting the contact when creating a new message.
