Hey all, I consider my self galaxy guru but this issue got me stumped. About 3 days ago I am no longer able to conect my phone to TV. If I want to watch a movie on my phone I would simply click smarting icon in top right corner and Walla. Simple right? No longer works. I can see my TV and when I click on it nothing happens just says unable to connect. Yes everything is connected to same network etc. My s22 connects no problem but my S24ultra has stoped. I can force conect and watch pictures that are on my phone on TV but soon as I get to movie tells me video player not working. However I can watch it on my phone so not the video player. Any help would be appreciated

Have you checked your Bluetooth connection on both the TV and your phone and reset your modem and see if that works. Some times the modem will loose connection and it's best to turn your modem off once a week just to reset your connections also check to see if the player is up to date. Sometimes you will need to reinstall the player if it drops out. Try that and let me know how you go.

I have similar issues when connecting my galaxy s23 ultra to my sony bravia TV.
To be honest I gave up.

Hi @Sash1980 ,

Firstly, I would recommend that you ensure that the SmartThings app is up to date in the Google Play store or Galaxy app store.

If it is up to date, I would also recommend that you clear the cache and data for your SmartThings app.
Settings > Apps > SmartThings > Storage > Clear cache and clear data

If both those options don't work, I would recommend that you do an isolation test to determine whether the issue is affecting the phone or the TV (I think it may be your phone, but it would be good to check) - this can be done by trying to connect your device to other TV's if possible.

If all those options do not work, I would recommend that you send us an Error Report (link below) and our technical team can look into this further for you.

Thank you so much for input, problem was my other phone connected no problom to same tv or my kids phone. Also i could connect my phone to my kids tv in their bedrooms no problem. It was very strange. I did factory reset my tv last night and everything went back to normal and connections are now fine.
