Why is my 4g icon is showing though my mobile data is off

Hi I need help with this. As you can see my 4g icon is showing though my mobile data is currently off. Is there a way to get rid of the icon and will only show if I turned on my mobile data? Hope somebody can help. Appreciate it

Hi. I did. Also i did factory reset. Actually i did update my phone the other night and after the update the 4g icon showed up.
