Why was the scrolling wallpaper feature removed in the first place?

Hi everyone, I’ve just moved to the S25 from my old Xiaomi phone. Something that’s really bothering me is that HyperOS 3 no longer supports scrolling wallpapers, which my KLWP theme relies on. I also used a Samsung device many years ago, and it looks like One UI hasn’t supported this feature anymore for quite a long time.

What confuses me even more is that current Good Lock is incredibly customisable and offers a huge range of tweaks—yet it still doesn’t provide something as simple and useful as scrolling wallpapers. With the Nova Launcher developer having stepped away from the project, I’m really wondering why Samsung hasn’t brought this feature back.

Is there any way to enable it, or is there any chance it might return in a future update?

Yep, the Persona 5 KLWP theme, which I've been used for years.

Thx. Did you mean the Persona theme? I couldn't find it as it was a theme a guy developed for KLWP since 10 years ago and still keep maintaining it. But it requires scrolling wallpaper to work. Or do you mean there's a way to enable scrolling wallpapers? Thanks!

Samsung does has free theme and charge one included wallpaper but the theme you after probably check out on Google play.

But non of them are to the klwp level. The only thing that is missing for now is the scroll wallpapers. It feels so weird to me that it has been existed since early Android days and now every company wanna remove it 😂

Try out some of Samsung theme. They are good also 😊and a lot of wallpapers, colourfull one

Thx for recommendation! But I've been using that p5 theme over 7 years and also the only persona theme developer that keeps updating it to this day (https://youtu.be/DPEWLjs_M0k). So it's really hard for me to throw it away. 😂
