Hi again, z318! Wiping your cache partition clears out temporary files from your phone's operating system. It also cleans up any extra files from apps you have already uninstalled. This can help resolve some issues as it clears out potential bugs. It's completely safe, and here's how you can do it, if you're interested:

  1. Turn off device
  2. Connect your device to a computer
  3. Press and hold the Volume Up and Power buttons
  4. Once the Android recovery screen shows up, release all buttons
  5. Use the Volume Down button to hover over "Wipe cache partition"
  6. Press the Power button to select "Wipe cache partition"
  7. Use the Volume Down button to hover over "Yes"
  8. Again, use the Power button to select and confirm your choice
  9. Wait for the system to wipe the cache
  10. Reboot your device like normal

Hope this helps! 🤗

Hey there, z318! Screen flickering can either be a software or hardware issue. First thing you can do to check is to operate your Galaxy Z Flip4 in Safe Mode. 📱

Here's how:

  1. Turn off your phone, then turn it back on
  2. When the Samsung logo shows up, press and hold the Volume Down button
  3. Your phone should now be in Safe Mode; you can clarify this if you see "Safe Mode" on the bottom left of your screen

If the flickering is gone in Safe Mode, this is most likely caused by a bug - probably from a recently downloaded app. You can go ahead and delete new apps one by one until you find out which one caused the flickering.

If the flickering is still there even in Safe Mode, this could be a hardware issue. Best thing you can do here is to visit a nearby service center to have it checked and repaired. You may book your appointment directly through your Samsung Members app, right under the Support tab. 😊
