Galaxy ZUpdated to the ONE UI version 5.1 after the notification came that I needed to update, and now have no audio.
No microphone. Photo works, but not video with the camera.
No audio through bluetooth either.
Sure wish I had checked this forum. Have never even thought twice about updating when requested to - but never will again.
SamsungClaudette - don't you dare tell me to send an error report.

Galaxy ZAbsolutely the same problem even worse, cant make phone call due to lack of sound, sometime youtube doesnt want to play videos, no sound coming out of the phone at all. I am just shocked, because it is such an expensive phone. IT is happening for the first time to have such an major bug and can't a inormation about that at all.

Based on what you've described, I recommend for you to head into your nearest authorised service centre with your proof of purchase so that we can take a closer look into this. Please be aware that due to our Privacy Policy, your device may be factory reset before being assessed. I highly recommend backing up your device via Smart Switch, OneDrive and/or Google to ensure none of your data is lost.

Galaxy ZI also have the same problem. After updated to One UI version 5.1.1, my Samsung Z Fold 3 lost all of the sound. I couldn't make a phone call or receive a phone call, bcoz no sound on the speaker. Already tried to reset All Setting, but it didn't solve the problem at all. I brought my phone to Samsung Shop in Jakarta. They couldn't give me any reasonable answer. The staff said they don't have any solution. Just asked me to trade in to Fold 5. The trade in cost me around USD 1.400. Very annoying. I thought that updating my software would be improve my phone.
