Galaxy Z
I bought a Z Flip 6 3 months ago. Two weeks ago the phone went pitch black and I can't use or see anything on the screen. The cover screen was still on though. Wrote to customer service who suggested me to back up my data. I did explain I could not do it because the phone was dead. They could care less. I never dropped the phone or did anything to damage it. Sent the phone back and asked for a refund. Samsung NEVER AGAIN!🤮

This happened with my flip 6 too which I barely used. It was a secondary phone. As much as I loved it and the form factor, they have yet to perfect the tech and durability in it I believe as this was a common issue. I had it assessed by Samsung and also requested for full refund and received it. I went back to regular candybar style S25. At least I have peace of mind now.

Also, ALWAYS have your back ups setup automatically when you first get any new phone. Services like Google Photos for example. It is not their responsibility to try to save your data if something unexpected happens. Private data is sensitive matter and manufacturers try to not to get involved in it, there's a lot of legality that can be involved with it.

Yes, I did not know google Photos does not update automatically when you get a new phone. However, it was because of their device's fault I couldn't do a back up.Lesson learned!

Just a quick update. Just got a call from the repairs company that Samsung uses telling me they will try to fix the mobile and send it back to me. I told them I don't want the faulty device any more but a full refund for what I paid 3 months ago. Unbelievable!😤
