Fold 4 Hinge Issues

Hi everyone,

I hope you are doing well.

My Galaxy Z Fold 4 is not opening completely. What can be done? Is there any chance Samsung will replace this free of charge since this seems to be a design fault?

I purchased this phone in the UAE and now I'm in Perth, Australia.

Please advise.

Unfortunately, since it's an overseas model, it's highly unlikely an authorised Samsung repair centre will touch it.

That is quite unfortunate. I purchased it directly from Samsung UAE, and it's still under extended warranty. Logically, it should be taken care of globally.

Have you tried to contact them for advice about international repairs/warranty?

Checked with them.. warranty is local.. so I will have to pay to get this fixed.. if Samsung Australia accepts..

use a vacuum on low power setting with the phone closed and make sure to use the tip used to vacuum the car between the seats , then after open and close the phone and keep vacuum. I always fixed mine like this and kept doing it weekly .Hopefully it will help😊
