With all the troubles One UI 6.0 is having at the moment is it worth updating right now?

Don't know what trouble you're having but since I got the update I haven't had any problems. I'm in QLD.

Just heard about stability and battery issue

Nope, I haven't had either. I really don't know whether it's the type of phone that's the problem but I can honestly say i haven't had anything go wrong.

The only issue I've faced is the absolute destruction of wifi calling capabilities and cell reception
