So I've updated my fold6 with oneUI7, and recently I've been noticing very randomly whole opening, mostly closing apps or exiting to home screen, the whole UI just restarts and takes me back to lock screen.
Yes - very common post-upgrade, you can try out the below however (either / or / combination):
1. Clear Cache Partition * Power off device * Hold Power + Volume Up until recovery mode loads * Use volume keys to select “Wipe cache partition”, confirm with Power button * Reboot
2. Clear One UI Home Cache * Open Settings * Tap Apps * Tap the 3-dot menu > Show system apps * Select One UI Home * Tap Storage * Tap Clear cache
3. Disable Good Lock / Themes * Uninstall or disable Good Lock modules (especially Home Up, Task Changer) * Switch to Samsung’s default theme and icon pack
4. Boot into Safe Mode * Hold Power button > Long-press “Power off” > Tap Safe mode * Test if the issue still occurs * If not, a third-party app may be causing it
5. If still unresolved, Submit an Error Report * Open Samsung Members app * Tap Get help > Error reports * Note - best to submit soon after the issue occurs
Aghast, please help! My phone updated to UI 7.0 without asking g me and I tried to use my favourite Galaxy theme that I've had forever, but it has now gone ahead and updated all of the icons to childish lotuses. How do I revert my theme to something simple and retain the Wallpaper?
