Phone won't register touch input after unlocking for about 5-10 seconds after latest update.
Have tried bootloader and clearing cache which seems to help for a few hours.
Happened after lasted Samsung update. Galaxy flip 4. Not to do with flip status happens even if phone is not closed and just locked.

Try a soft Reset by pressing the Power and Volume Down buttons together for about 15 seconds, until the device restarts.

Then after reboot. Don't time it.

Wait for loading, thereafter 1 min or so unlock, lock and unlock for second time. See if fixed.

Check Background Apps

There are more apps operating in the background, then needed.

Turn off social media, shopping and any non important apps.

Keep Samsung, Google apps active.

Hi @Timthephone,

If you have exhausted all the steps mentioned above, we would recommend that you also try rebooting your device into safe mode. This could likely be an issue with a third party app preventing touches to be registered properly.

If the issue persists, please raise an Error Report via the Samsung Members app and our Technical Team should be able to identify the issue for you.

Warm regards,
