I recently installed the latest software update on the 31 Jan and since then my flip 6's USB C port can not be recognized when connected to PC and wired charging is not working. I have tried clearing the cache on usb setting and also ascertained this is not due to cable/charging port/dirty USB C connection.  I can feel the battery is heating up when I connect to PC, but even though the phone is not recognized and charging is not starting, I can feel the phone start to heat up after a short while. I suspect this might be relating to the software update due to the issue surfaced after the update. Any suggestion is appreciated. Thank you!

One possibility is usb settings as updated, for example in UI 6.1 where increased security reduced some standard usb features. In that case fixing starts with installing Developer option, then going into Developer options and search within that for usb options. I haven't done enough reading on that so good luck in searching further.

Thank you for posting your thoughts. Hoping the next software update can reverse the change.

Thank you for your reply. I have referred to the mentioned information when I first had the issue. I have also called for technical support but no resolution and was advised to reach out to service centre. If anyone else has any other suggestions, would appreciate it. Thank you.
